Message 2004.
The 29th AGM of the Malacca Hash House Harriers was held on 25th May 2004, and majority of the last Mismanagement Committe ( 2003/ 2004 ) members return to office with a few new faces. We must congratulate ourselves for a job well done both in fun and finance for the last year.
We did what we had promised and the paperless adminstration did cut down our expenses of photostat and postages, a 43% reduction as compared to that of the previous year, a sheer gain of RM 2000, an equivalent of 400 small bottles of Tiger Beer.
The website is currently enjoying a 300 - 320 hits per month consistently for the past six months and there are 143 subscribers for our weekly newsletter. Most important of all, we have managed to keep in touch with old friends and also to make new friends world wide. We made ourselves known in a small spot in this virtual world of world wide web.
So, fellow hashers, It is time that you are encouraged to be more proactive to contribute articles, related photos, jokes, etc in order to make this site more interesting. As technically we have no problem in publishing, but the contents are still the essential parts to determine the future success of this site.

p.s. Hasheditor reserves the right to modify or not to publish your articles, photos, jokes etc in order to conform to the rules of public acceptance.
We are glad that Malacca Hash House Harriers, the mother hash of Melaka has progressed in this ICT age that this website could be presented in this year. One of the objectives is to go for paperless administration of the club, and another is to encourage the use of the internet facility, and also put ourselves in a small spot in the map of this virtual world. So, fellow hashers, gear up yourself and get your newsletter through this website. Malacca Hashers, on the run again, on the run again, we want to ----
| Oh Great Grandmaster up above Give me the shiggy pit for my run That I may have for my companios Give me on my run, thorny & steep mountains & devious false trails Give me the rain, the lightning & the rushing shiggy streams Give me the darkness before six & the checks to catch the pack O'let me have a run so monstrous that I shall be ever happr In the glory of thy outdoor temples So I can stand a little taller than he Give me not tho' the biggots Who outshout me on Tuesdays Give me not the Chink Chongs who ravish the food like no tomorrow Give me not the false trail that keeps me out till the beers run out Give me not the silence when harsh & vulgar of high Give me HASH with peace of mind & spirit of high Give me not the shiggy but let me walk the dry ground In the glory of thy outdoor temples So I can Stand a little closer to thee Yes, Oh Great Grandmaster up above Give me the forest to run in A trail winding thro' the trees Give me pleasant companoins & a clear fresh mountain breeze Give me the sun to warm me & a drink from cold clear streams Give me a mountain to inspire me with a touch of youth's great dreams Give me enough glow at twilight to see the path i grope Let me walk into the silence of dusk's first shadow on the groung Give me the grace & the kindness to love & protect what I see In the glory of thy outdoor temples So I can stand a little closer to thee |
