The pack of about 40 had already assembled at the front of our Batu Api's factory on time, but G.M did not turn up. So, JM P Raman took over, he led the group after some brief warm up exercise. However, I had a feeling that he sneaked out half way as I did not see him at all in the run. The run looked very innocent in the beginning as we were running in the vast space of factory land.
As we continued, we started to enter into the thick bushes, along the forest lanes, laterite roads, oil palm trees and some wet land. The run was quite an interesting one as it provided a long stretch of laterite roads for a good run especially for those who like to run. I had a feeling that the hare and the co-hares had somehow lost their way and at certain part of the run, it was like making turns in circle. It was a good day, cool and not raining. However, the run seemed never ended, and it took almost 2 hours for an average runner to come out. By then, it was dark and the last guest runner, Richard Goh, X-GM had to be picked up by Josep on a motorcycle.
The hash circle was conducted successfully by Jm Simon Seow, Visba, and the Joke master Au Kiat. It was quite a good fun with all the jokers around, and the announcement on the welcome of new members, Michael and Tim was made. On On was on site with the nice food ( Tambi, the caterer ) provided by the hare,Peter, the Licker (Jilat).

Verdict: The run was actually quite a good one except that it was too long. It would be perfect if it could be cut short to 1 hour for a good runner and 1 1/2 hr for the average one. The safety aspect was well taken care of as there was not much of the hazard encountered during the run except it would be better if the returned trail could be on the tarred road since it was so dark by the time hashers had returned. Not bad for the trail! good on you and thank you for the food, On! On! Peter, The Licker
