The hares for the run No:1496 were supposed to be William Tay, Daniel Lok and Chan Nyok Lan only but at the eleven hour
Utom Singh and Sukminderjit Kuar were inserted. The On Sec, being responsible, brought the issue to the supreme authority, the Mismanagement Committee,
for approval as normally three hares is the maximum number a run could allow. Hence , on 20th August 2003, at 9.00pm a board of enquiry was held at the Good World Restaurant for the final decision.
To justify the decision, the following rules which are dug out from some hash bible are adopted:-
1. The first rule is : there are no rules.
2. The Grandmaster is always right.
3. When the Grandmaster is wrong, Rule 2 applies.
4. The rules are not comprehensive and therefore Rule 5 applies.
5. The Grandmaster can add, delete, or change any rule at anytime etc etc.
Hence, based on the above set of rules, the approval was granted and in return the members would get from the hares
the following deal F.O.C.:-
(a) a pair of track pants for each runner.
(b) 6 tables of food from a Chinese restaurant.
(c) Each table, 3 bottles of beer and 2 bottles of red wine.
(d) 16 prizes of lucky draw.
(e) Electric organ performance from our talented Eddy & Co.
For this, one " On Down " for the Grandmaster!
About 80 hashers turned up for the run at 6 pm.The run was held at Lendu near the Satellite station, and actually a very well set run. The run would give a good sweat out for a good runner
who would probably complete in
about an hour and an additional half an hour for an average fellow. There was no unreasonable hazard, and sports injuries were unlikely.
The returned trail was on the tarred road ensuring that slow runners would return safely. A typical scene of terrains going through the rubber estates and oil palm estates
was seen except that we had to slide down to a deep dry drain and climb up again, otherwise, every thing was smooth.
Events after the run were probably more exciting and entertaining as
