On this memorable day about 35 hashers/harriets & attachments (GUESTS) met up down by the Satellite Station at Lendu to make sure Bebbie really get her sweet revenge after continuously complaining about how the runs are these days. (Not sure if she is satisfied now) Debbie was assisted in the haring this run by webmaster TT Kang .They were further assisted in laying paper by the “ Apa Lu Cakap” couple. Not sure why 4 hares were needed – maybe to split up the the trail into small portions or perhaps so they could cross check when their memories failed.
Yours truly (yes, can you believe it) led the pack on a trail predictably into up and down rubber and lost his position to the FROPs. The trail then predictably led us all into mature, ready to be pushed down oil palm continuing uphill in the cleared area. The MROPs and SROPs took the easy smooth estate track navigating around the foothill to meet up with the paper trail which lead us to a check at the durian orchard. Starting paper was found on the right slowly turning left in the mango orchard. The MROPs again demonstrated their skills of how to jump deep drains and meet up with the FROPs, the easier ways The Orchard Hand on see this herd of hashers running in his farm quickly made his way to open the main entrance gate to let us through instead of damaging his fence. The trail from now on was predictable leading us behind the satellite station. Yours truly was tempted to SCB the well knows terrain but did not do so. However, Kiasu crystal King SCBed back to the beer wagon.
Soon, with the hour growing late, the one by one the hashers spaced out headed home. The trail now led over undulating terrain that required some steep hand over foot scrambling then some breaking through fence, terrace ridge running and jumping. We finally made it intact back to the run site for the circle, where we were treated to ice cool beer by Tiger Mah.
GM Aukiat conducted the ceremonies that honored the hares, the visitors, the hash curious, and addressed the crimes of the hash criminals and anything else he could make up.
.The On On was at Dimensi, Lendu with four tables taken up. Debbie and TTKang showed their Hash assets and were excellent hosts as we enjoyed yummy food and even-yummier beer. The on-after continued late into the night. Did the fun continue even though after I left? As hard as it will be for you to believe, it appears that it did!
All in all a great hash day with fine weather and things went well for all.
