Happy New Year! It is a very special opportunity that members of Malacca Hash House Harriers could celebrate this 2008 New Year day at Bertam Ulu in hashing style.
2007 was a wonderful year for Malacca Hash House Harriers as the hashing activity did extend from Melaka to Hatyai, Songkran and so Chiang Mai. Social activity like the Hawaii Night was a success. Thanks to the GM and his team for the conscientious effort.
The website has reached a hit of 20522 to date averaging 482 hits per month, a slight improvement over the past years since 2003.
I have permanently resided in Down Under since last September juggling between a full time job, families and a newly arrived grandson. Life is a bit busy however happy and relaxed. Certainly I would have lost the first hand knowledge of the MH3 activities and the website has to depend on members’ feedback particularly from the On Sec, GM and Script Master Drug Buster. Hopefully this website will improve.
Wishing all of you a happy and prosperous New Year!
On On,

Year 2006 has ended with a mixed feeling of some good news and some bad news.
The good news was that the stock market had shot up rocket high and many were able to recover from the disposal of the old treasures that they had persistently been holding. The bad news was the serious flood happened in the Southern part of Malaya, and a severe earthquake of Taiwan that made a doomsday of the World Wide Web. Many netizens felt at a loss in the darkest hours of the WWW.
This website has reached a hit of 14741, averaging 461 hits per month; an improvement as compared to 353 hits per month of last year. The progress is slow but encouraging and proves useful to the members.
Again, we wish to thank for the continual support and contribution of the following people without which the content of the site may not be so enriched as an e-mouth organ for hash house harriers of Malacca:-
1. Joke Master, Au Kait ( Inpaq ).
2. Drug Buster, Pak Sek Kok.
3. Viagraman, Simon Seow.
4. Oil Rig Lim, H T Lim.
5. Pecker, Lee Peck Seng.
6. Lim Tian Han of Sunday HHH.
And Overseas correspondents as follows:-
Lets hope next year will be better!
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous New Year! And at the same time we wish to express our sympathy to the victims of the Malaysian flood and earthquake of Taiwan.

Times fly, we are now entering into year 2006.
2005 has ended not that good. Oil price has gone up and stock market down; industry goes slow, ringgit shrinking and what hits us the hardest is the beer price and our GM and so MH3 struggle to get ends meet; hashing without beer is like fish without water.
However, life has to go on, and hasing has to continue, rain or shine, flood or earth quake!
This website has reached a hit of 9204 which shows a slight improvement as compared to that of last year; a 353 hits per month. as compared to 345 last year. The only consolation is that now people rely on eletronic mails and this website for information and the ON Sec has stopped posting paper mails. That is a money saving improvement.
We wish to thank for the continual support and contribution of the following people without which the content of the site may not be so enriched as an e-mouth organ for hash house harriers of Malacca:-
1. Joke Master, Au Kait ( Inpaq ).
2. Drug Buster, Pak Sek Kok.
3. Yogi Bear, Vijai Deb.
4. Viagraman, Simon Seow.
5. Oil Rig Lim, H T Lim.
6. Pecker, Lee Peck Seng.
7. Lim Tian Han of Sunday HHH.
8. Sleeping Beauty, Marion Chung.

We are indeed saddened that year 2004 has to be ended with the catastrophe of tsunami which took many lives away and many have lost their homes. Let us send out prayers of love, strength and courage to the families who have lost their loved ones and also thousands who have lost their homes.
We wish that year 2005 will be better.
In reviewing what we have done in the past year, we are glad to know that the website has reached a 4970 hits bench mark at the end of the year. In other words, we have been enjoying an average of 345 hits per month for the last 12 months. This is quite an improvement as compared to that of last year which was a mere 150 hits per month.
The website serves as a voice for not only the Malacca Hash House Harriers but also the hash house harriers of Melaka as well. It has reported major events of the various chapters of hash house harriers of Melaka in addition to its own activities. Year 2004 was an eventful year for hash house harriers as the Cardiff Interhash was on in July and the 5th Malaysian Nash Hash hosted by the Malacca Full Moon HHH happened in September. We have participated in the events and this website takes pride in publishing the full reports. As travelling and sightseeing is also a part and parcel of hashing activity, some trip reports are also presented.
We will be continuosly seeking improvement and wish to thank the following people for their contributions without which the website may not attend to her present stage of little success:-
and Overseas correspondents as follows:-
It just takes interest, and perhaps passion to get our enthusiastic team players just to add a little ingredients in this cooking pot such that perhaps this website could continue for many years to come.
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous New Year !

Reviewing what we have done the last five months, we are quite happy to say that our website has finally reached a 825 hits benchmark at the end of this year. This is encouraging judging from the 100 odd members we have.
We have also achieved the paperless adminstration which we promised before. Effective since 1st October 03, we had eliminated the weekly paper newsletter. Only one simple paper monthly newsletter without postage is issued for the benefit of members who have yet to be ICT literate. The amount of money saved from the papers and postage is enough to cover the expense of this website with excess for the expense of beer for " On Down ".
We have also made our name " Malacca hash House harriers " known in the virtual world of World Wide Web as one could quickly gain access to us by using the search engines, such as Google and Yahoo. Our name also appears in the list of Hash House Harriers Publishers' Association and Global Hash Website.
However, the only setback is the usage of the website by members is still far from ideal, about 25% of members estimated use this website. this is another objective that we try to achieve. i.e. to encourage the use of the internet facility.
I read from the paper not long ago that a nun at an age of 99 residing at Petaling Jaya, opens emails from friends and surfs in the internet every morning before she starts to do anything else. Not a single member of our club in the record has reached that age yet and all of us are still young enough to learn to be computer literate. Why not make a resolution in this New Year that we want to learn how to do emailing, internet surfing and viewing the web pages?
Just give you an idea how other hash websites do:-
| Malacca Hash House Harriers | - - - - - - - - - - - | 150 hits per month |
| Malacca Mountain Bike Hash | - - - - - - - - - - - | 300 hits per month |
| Tokyo Samurai Hash House Harriers | - - - - - - - - - - - | 1000 hits per month |
Our New Year resolution shall be that we simply do not wish to be left out in this ICT age and the formation of the K-Society.
We also wish to take this opportunity to thank friends and members who give support to this website in ways of giving mentoring, proof reading and feed back, articles and images, viewing, and kind words to encourage to enable this website to come to the present stage.
We will be looking for new ways continuously to make this site even more appealing and urge you to let us know what you think.
Wishing you a very happy and prosperous New Year!

| The good news is you'll stay here. The bad news is you need to be computer literate enough to open the St Peter's gate!.

Another excellent improvement to the MH3 website emailing method esp on
privacy protection.
The last couple of reply-all emails by members can make interesting
reading but can also be embarrassing for some !
ON ON ! 10. I have just been given the link to your website by your returning hasher Lim Heng Tin - excellent.
I have forwarded it on to our budding webmaster, Neil Goldsworthy. he has promised us our website will be revived by 1st January - only now will he see how high the standards are ! Yours in hope,
